Womens Tri a hit at Albury Wodonga

Close to 170 competitors braved cold and chilly conditions to contest the 11thedition of the Albury Wodonga Triathlon Club’s women’s only triathlon.

On a new course at Ebden Reserve, the popular event was once again a hit among those who lined up on the start line.

Rounding out the top-3 individual places were Sarah Trainer (20-39) and overall winner with a time of 33:59, Amanda Cohn (20-39) runner up with a time of 36:22, and in third place Joanne Deacon (over 60) with a time of 36:23

In the Teams section, Ang Sandral and Michaela Franks took home first place, followed by Team CCW and Team Yack Girls in third.

Congratulations to all participants on their performance and passion from growing female participation in triathlon.
