Victorian Sprint Championships return to Elwood Beach

Excitement is building for the Victorian Sprint Championships, as the 2XU Triathlon Series heads back to Elwood Beach this Sunday.

The eighth race on the Victorian State Series calendar sees athletes from across the state gather to compete aross a 750-meter swim, 20-kilometer bike ride, and 5-kilometer run. Competitors will face a grueling challenge as they navigate the waters of Port Phillip Bay, cycle through the scenic streets of Elwood, and run along the picturesque beachfront.

The race promises to be a showcase of speed, endurance, and athleticism, with participants competing for the coveted title of the Victorian Sprint Champion.

About the 2022/23 Victorian State Series

The 2022/23 Victorian State Series title is awarded to both individuals and clubs based on results from selected multipart events across the season.

Athletes are ranked in age groups and accrue points for results across the 11 series calendar events , with double points available at State Championships.

Overall State Series Champions are crowned at season end, along with the highest performing clubs being presented with the State Series Shield and Performance Club Award.
