Is your school keen to bring triathlon to the schoolyard?

Delivered in your school by Triathlon Australia accredited facilitators, Sporting Schools – Triathlon aims to teach primary school-aged children the FUNdamentals of triathlon through movement – agility, balance, coordination, speed, running, jumping, gliding, buoyancy, throwing, catching, kicking and hitting, encouraging participation in all sports.

Over four hour-long sessions, your students will get a feel for triathlon through game-based activities including swim, bike and run activities, within the familiar environment of their school.

Benefits

There are endless benefits of bringing triathlon to your classroom. Find out some of the most common ones below!

  • Students have the opportunity to explore and try non-traditional sports in a friendly and familiar environment.
  • Bring new skills and challenges to your students that traditional sports like football, netball or cricket don’t provide.
  • Studies have shown that physical activity has a positive impact on concentration, memory and classroom behaviour.
